Shorewood Boys Water Polo
Practice times:
- First practice 8/25/2025 at Innis Arden Swim Club (IASC) Monday - Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM. Sunday practices will begin 9/21, 5:30-7:00 PM. Sunday practice is not optional.
- IASC - 1430 NW 188th St, Shoreline, 98177
- A player must complete a minimum of 8 practices before the 1st game. Division 2 Champs will take place November 7-8 at Rogers Aquatic Center. The State tournaments takes place this year December 12-15 at Curtis Aquatic Center
- Each practice will start with dryland. Please wear workout attire and athletic shoes, Speedo style briefs, goggles and a full water bottle before the start of practice. If you are rummaging in the goggle bin after practice has started, you are late.
Team and American Water Polo Dues:
- Every player is required to be registered with American Water Polo https://americanwaterpolo.org/join-now/
- Pay Shorewood’s ASB fee
- Fee $600 ** ($200 is the normal fee for Sports, we also need to pay for pool rental & league fees).
- Does your family have a business that could sponsor or co–sponsor the team?
- We want anyone who wants to play to have access to water polo, so if the financial aspect is a concern, please talk with Ms. Shin or Coach Mira
- Team gear Suits/Shirts/Gear: Apparel:
The team store is open again. This will be the LAST time and only open for 1 week (closing Aug 29). Do not wait to place your order, it will take a few weeks to process. If you need a suit before the first game, I recommend buying a cheap on from Swim Outlet. Team suits are not required, but no jammers for games or practices.
Games:
- “Home” games will be at the Innis Arden Pool.
- Away Game times/days will vary.
- Players will need to find their own transportation to and from away games as there is no District-provided transportation.

*DO NOW: Complete Sports packet and return to the SW Business Office, pay fee, register with American Water Polo, and ensure physical is up to date and not expiring during the season. **All items MUST be completed before athletes are eligible to get in the pool and begin practice**
